Product story

Blue Firth’s work often uses historical narratives and explores how our perceptions can be shaped by built environments. Her prints use layering, metallic inks and textured images to create moiré effects that appear to move in and out of the page. These effects are used in conjunction with symbols and imagery from popular culture. The graphic symbolism she forms creates images which reference the ambiguity and surrealist tendencies found in everyday media.

The RA Editions programme generates valuable revenue for the RA and in particular the RA Schools.
