Product story

HaYoung Kim is very much interested in modern technology and science, and their effect on the human mind. Her art examines the notion that people are losing some part of their humanity and individuality by participating in a high technology society. Are we becoming, as she calls them ‘characterless characters’? In this work and others she looks at how the cold, rational and ‘intelligent’ logic of technology can create vulnerability and fragility in people.

All proceeds from the sale of RA Editions prints go directly to support the RA Schools.
