"This series began with collage and hand-painted paper in the studio and then more collaboratively in the Advanced Graphics Print Studio. Painting may be restricted by the rectangle whereas print allows a different dynamic to form colour relationships. Subsequent to this series I was commissioned to work on 13 crossings around Piccadilly, UpTownDancing, 2021, further exploring colour, scale and other perspectives on animation." - Vanessa Jackson RA
The Axis series was printed and published by Advanced Graphics London.
