The limited edition print, Phillipa’s Screen, was originally produced at Advanced Graphics London for The London Suite II exhibition, 2012, which included screenprints by 20 renowned artists. The starting point for Phillipa’s Screen was, in the artist’s words, ‘an old drawing of flowers in a pot at home’. The dots across the image suggest a ‘screening off of something’. In Moon’s recent unique works he employs a correspondingly monochrome palette and depicts objects amongst a heavily textured background, thereby creating a similar sense of viewing the subject through a haze.
