Artists' Laboratory 6: Stephen Chambers Special Edition
The sixth and final title in the Artists’ Laboratory series centres the work of Stephen Chambers. The book is published in a limited edition of 20 copies, each including Spud Head, a unique potato and carrot print on Moriko Koxo paper, signed and numbered by the artist.
Foreworded by Paul Huxley RA, this study also includes a conversation between Chambers and fellow Academician Alison Wilding, in which the two artists discuss their respective practices, and a short essay by Rod Mengham.
The Royal Academy’s Artists’ Laboratory series presents the more experimental and less familiar work of contemporary artists, opening up their creative process through conversations and essays.
