Farthing drew his first ‘tree portraits’ in the summer of 1999, in Southern France. The following year he moved to New York and halfway through the process of re-drawing the trees onto etching plates, the project was halted as a result of a studio fire. The RA Editions programme generates valuable revenue for the RA and in particular the RA Schools.
All proceeds from the sale of RA Editions prints go directly to support the RA Schools.
