To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy, we've collaborated with Surface View to present an unparalleled collection of our past posters.
In 1979, the year of this exhibition, Sandra Blow RA (1925-2006) was elected to the Academy. Blow studied at the RA Schools during the 1940s and as an abstract painter with an international reputation she regularly exhibited at the Summer Exhibition. She had a retrospective exhibition at the RA in 1994.
