This greetings card has been printed with The Life Guards, 1952-3 by Edward Bawden RA.
A printmaker, graphic designer, illustrator and painter, Bawden studied at the Cambridge School of Art from 1918 to 1922 and the Design School of the Royal College of Art, London, from 1922 to 1926, where he was taught be Paul Nash RA. After graduating he worked on a large variety of projects for the Curwen Press, along with many other publishers, producing book illustrations and cover designs, posters and advertisements.
