Product story

Featuring numerous colour illustrations, this volume includes Turk's major works since the early 1990s as well as two texts, one of which contextualizes the artist's work including the impact of London on Turk's persona. Part of the YBA movement Turk has exhibited internationally since the 1990s. Turk's installations and sculptures deal with issues of value, authenticity and identity. Concerned with the 'myth' of the artist and the 'authorship' of a work, Turk's engagement with this modernist, avant-garde debate stretches back to the readymades of Marcel Duchamp.
