Product story

Having graduated from the Polytechnic of Central London (now University of Westminster), Ian Ritchie formed Ian Ritchie Architects Ltd in London and co-founded the design engineering firm Rice Francis Ritchie in Paris in 1981. His architectural practice has designed many landmark projects throughout Europe, including the glass towers of the Reina Sofia Museum of Modern Art, Madrid; the Leipzig Glass Hall; the Dublin Spire and the RSC Courtyard Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Ritchie was awarded a CBE in 2000, and he is the only foreign architect to have received the French Academie d’Architecture Grand Silver Medal for Innovation.
