This card featuring the work The Girls, by Bridget Harrison-Jeive, shows the beauty of the bond between mother and daughter. A perfect sentiment for mother's day, or just to remind your mother/daughter how much you care.
Bridget Harrison-Jeive is a self-taught artist from the New Forest who paints in her spare time.
Her painting The Girls was chosen for the 250th Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. For the piece, she wanted to show how beautiful and colourful the relationship between mother and daughter could be. By her own account, as soon as she started to draw the 'gir's, she fell in love with them. It was her first artwork to be shown at the Royal Academy.
