Norman Ackroyd CBE RA (1938) is a British artist best known for his us of aquatint to produce hugely evocative landscapes. Ackroyd trained at Leeds College of Art and the Royal College of Art, going on to have a succesful career as a printmaker, he was elected a Royal Academician in 1988.
