Product story

Anna Dickerson grew up in Rome and studied painting as Glasgow School of Art and Rhode Island School of Design. The Robin's Breakfast is from Anna's series of paintings of Garden Birds. Scenes unfold at her bird table in Kent and are rendered in delicately layered acrylic paint using a palette knife. Figuration and a flair for materials have informed her work, which is often drawn from the natural world. Anna was Artist in Residence at the Zoological Society of London for 18 months and featured in the Tate online drawing course. Her work is held in the United Nations Art Collection, Rome, and private collections worldwide.
