This print relates to Wilson’s monumental sculpture of a bus teetering on the edge of the De La Warr Pavilion roof in Bexhill-on-sea, created in 2012. Similarly, Hang on a minute lads, I’ve got a great idea pays homage to the iconic ending of the Michael Caine film, The Italian Job. The image is a composite of low resolution 'image grabs' to create an apparently 'low quality' print that looks accidental, but is very much intended. Both the installation and the print create a feeling of 'limbo', leaving the viewer unsure of what the future holds.
