Anthony Eyton RA, whose practice has always included the painting of still-lifes, has been influenced throughout his life by his extensive travels. These pots were brought back from a trip he made to Iran during the 1980s. Eyton’s study features the dynamic mark-making and expressive handling of paint for which he is renowned. It is presented among a number of Eyton’s dynamic new paintings that explore in detail the collapse of some shelving in his studio.
