Established in 1988, Christopher Farr has been at the spearhead of contemporary rug design for over twenty-five years. Together with his business partner Matthew Bourne, they were the catalyst that revolutionised contemporary rug design. The company has collaborated with artists as well as foundations to create rugs including Gary Hume, Jorge Pardo and with the Josef and Anni Albers foundation in the USA.

Christopher Farr actively support Care & Fair, an organisation based in India dedicated to the elimination of child labour in the rug industry and the education of children in weaving areas.

Jennifer Durrant RA studied at Brighton College of Art from 1959 to 1963 and at the Slade School of Art, London from 1963 to 1966. Durrant’s work has been praised for its “symbolic resonance”. The abstract forms which distinguish her work often suggest natural processes but resist definition. Her abstract paintings from the series Ghirlanda feature vertical bands of colour incorporating vertical strips of irregularly shaped circular forms using acrylic and metallic paints on canvas and on wood panels. Her work is often described in spiritual terms, the artist herself having stated that its use may be meditative or contemplative.
Jennifer Durrant was elected a Royal Academician 1994 and lives and works in Umbria, Italy.
