Product story

At the age of 16, Jill Leman enrolled at Colchester School of Art where she studied under the tutelage of John Nash and Edward Bawden. She then went on to study Graphic Design at the Central School of Art and Design, London (now Central Saint Martins). Jill’s inspiration comes from the people, places and objects around her, and she aims to give each painting its own life. Her work has been shown in many mixed exhibitions, including the Royal Academy of Arts, Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Competition, Royal Society of British Artists, and Royal Watercolour Society where she became the first female president.
