Kelin Yue Paris Map Scarf Jonquil
The collection “Invisible City “was created to represent the modern metropolis in both an artistic and intelligent way. The city scarves are built from a city's streets and geometry narrated through an artistic inspired colour palette bringing human intelligence into our daily wear. The pattern was brought to life by using 100% pure silk, with twisted woven method. It is digitally printed with limited production and hand-finished by a group of female craftsman in the rural area of south-east China with traditional stitching skills. This process not only makes every piece unique and slightly different, but also supplements house income for rural female craftsman. 16% off! WAS £95.00, NOW £80.00.

The designer and owner of ARTIMOS Kelin Yue came from China and studied architecture and urban planning in University College London. Kelin’s personal interest in arts and my experience in scientific research inspired her into creating the concept of “Scientific Art.” This ultimately lead to creating my brand ARTIMOS. ARTIMOS stands for arts and cosmos which represent the collision between two opposing yet rather beautiful ideas. The working process reflects the aesthetic value of Kelin: the pattern was generated from open sourced data and transferred into geometric shapes which are corresponding to the real map while the colour palate is inspired by brilliant artists like David Hockney, Monet, etc.
