Light Lines: The Architectural Photographs of Hélène Binet

The Franco-Swiss architectural photographer Hélène Binet (b. 1959) is renowned for making images that express an intimate experience of architecture. Using only analogue techniques, she focuses on buildings that break the mould and daringly push the boundaries of their time.

Published to accompany the recently opened exhibition and featuring images ranging from the Baroque London churches of Nicholas Hawksmoor and the Jantar Mantar Observatory in Jaipur, to more recent works by Le Corbusier, Zaha Hadid RA and Daniel Libeskind Hon RA, this new book reveals Binet’s work in all its subtlety and quiet sensitivity.
