Product story

To dynamic effect, Mali Morris RA translates her painterly preoccupations with colour, light and space – and how these relate to experience – into the very different medium of screenprint.
Morris made this limited edition here at the Royal Academy Schools, in collaboration with Hen Coleman.

All proceeds from the sale of RA Editions prints go directly to support the RA Schools.

Mali Morris' concentrated compositions engage the viewer in the contemplation of pure abstraction, in which colour relationships illuminate, creating complex layers of space.

"Printing is totally different from painting, and I have unexpectedly found this contrast useful to think about. I imagined it to be like painting back to front, or inside out. I thought printmaking would not allow free play. It doesn’t, but I have found it offers different possibilities."

The RA Editions programme generates valuable revenue for the RA and in particular the RA Schools.
