Will, the founder, is a watercolour artist and ceramicist with a love of traditional crafts. Chris, his mother, and her sisters Noreen and Sue, join in creating the ceramic wares. Leo, Will's nephew, is an apprentice carpenter and helps weekends and evenings in the creation of their ceramic supplies and paint-making.
The small business is named after Will’s grandmother: "Lilian May, was the head and heart of our family and her love of family and also appreciation of quality workmanship, honestly made, is the ethos of our small family business."
