Product story
Mo Lancaster is a Somerset-born artist whose particular focus is on printmaking. She specialises in linocut, which she develops by hand, overprinting several colours and tones in small editions. Lancaster also runs workshops and finds inspiration in teaching, particularly life drawing, which influences her prints relating to women’s relationships; she uses the dresses as an opportunity for bright flat colour contrasts and shapes. Lancaster is sympathetic to her subjects and the human condition, whether mother and child or friends catching up over a drink or visiting London.
