Roderick Barker-Benfield is the Roderick behind ‘Roderick Vere’. The artist, photographer and designer-maker has a passion for creating the unusual and unexpected.
Roderick Vere’s watchwork line of jewellery and accessories is based on the timepiece worn by the Mad Hatter in Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Each item is hand made in East London from one or several vintage upcycled watch movements and is named after a celebrated author or one of their characters.
Roderick’s photographic work is regularly published in national newspapers and clients include The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The National Trust & the BBC.
Why RAted? Roderick’s eye catching work is a stunning example of upcycling at its most creative and engaging. Once loved legacy objects given a new lease of life and being loved once again.
