1997's Sensation exhibition became a major talking point drawing huge crowds and controversy. It bought attention to a new generation of artists, some of whom, Tracey Emin, Gary Hume and Fiona Rae, have now become Academicians.

The poster was designed by Why Not Assosciates with photography by Rocco Redondo and Photodisc.
