Product story

Born in 1963, Sarah Gillespie studied fiftennth and sixteenth-century methods and materials at the Atelier Neo Medici in Paris for a year, before going on to Study at Oxford University's Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art between 1982 and 1985. Upon graduating from Oxford she went on to win the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshields International Award for figurative painting and moved to the West Country to paint.

Her paintings, drawings and engravings are exhibited in numberous public and private collections in the UK and worldwide, and she regularly exhibits at the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibtion. She was elected a member of the Royal West of England Academy in 2016. She lives and works in Devon.
