Royal Academy Summer Exhibition Poster, 2005
The theme for 2005 was the multiple image or object. Ed Ruscha, the American Pop and conceptual artist and honorary Academician, was a featured artist of the Summer Exhibition and also represented the United States in that year’s Venice Biennale. His multiples, including the 1997 portfolio, Pools, filled Gallery VIII.
