Product story
For the 1968 Summer Exhibition Edward Bawden CBE RA (1903-1989) designed the poster. Bawden worked as a illustrator, printmaker, designer and watercolourist, he was the first artist elected to the RA within the category of draughtsman. The work featured is from The Estate of Edward Bawden. The Royal Academy has published some of their best-loved and commemorative posters from its expansive collection. This poster is from the RA's bi-centennial year, so undoubtedly quite a commemorative work.
