Product story

Sandra Blow RA (1925-2006) was born in London on 14th September 1925, and raised in Kent. She enrolled at St Martins School of Art, London, at the age of fifteen, and later attended the Royal Academy Schools followed by the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome.

Blow was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts in 1971 at a time when female RAs were a rarity. Her career was celebrated with a retrospective at the Royal Academy in 1994.
