Chris Orr was elected as a Royal Academician in 1995 and was Professor of Printmaking at the Royal College of Art 1998 to 2008.He was awarded an MBE in 2008 for services to the Arts. His work has been shown throughout the world and features regularly in the RA Summer Exhibition. His work is widely collected and in 2013 the Royal Academy published an important book about his prints, paintings and life ‘Chris Orr: the Making of Things’. He lives and works in London.
