Simon Philpott was born in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and studied at Cumbria Institute of the Arts. He graduated in 2009 with an MA in Contemporary Fine Art.
Philpott was an exhibitor in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2014 and 2016.
