This beautiful scarf features artwork by Nosipho, a 14-year-old student from Soweto, created as part of Lalela’s arts education programmes. Nosipho loves to read and dreams of changing the world by working for the African Union to help countries improve their economies. Since 2010, Lalela has supported thousands of children in sub-Saharan Africa through arts education, with every scarf helping to fund creative opportunities for young people.

Made from a cotton silk blend, it's soft, lightweight and easy to drape and layer year-round.

Product story

Lalela Scarf was created to financially support Lalela, a nonprofit that provides after-school arts education to children from under-resourced communities across South Africa and Zimbabwe. All Lalela Scarf products feature original artworks created by their students and the hangtag tells the story of the student or curriculum behind the artwork. 100% of profits from each sale are donated back to Lalela, making your purchase a meaningful way to support the life-changing power of arts education.
