Artwork description

Senior Academician Anthony Eyton’s travels throughout Europe and Asia have constantly informed his long career as a painter. Working from life, his rich, dynamic images are dense with colour and expression. His diverse range of subjects span a riverbank in India to his beloved antique spiral staircase in his Brixton home. For ten years from 1999 – 2009, Eyton was resident artist at the Eden Project, Cornwall. This pastel drawing made in the Rainforest Biome captures lush jungle foliage juxtaposed against the characteristic architecture of the structure, emanating heat and humidity.

Artist Sales: this work is sold by the artist. The sale is facilitated by RA Enterprises (RAE) for which RAE receives a commission from the artist only.
