UNTITLED, 2018 by Tony Bevan RA
For his contribution to Cure3, Tony Bevan RA creates a site-specific installation using the three walls of the cube, much like a theatre set. He draws strong charcoal lines on a raw canvas creating a truncated forest with the dust and crumbs of the charcoal and pigment. The remnants of the materials encapsulate the dynamic working process of the artist.

Art and science unite with Cure3. Established in 2017 and now in its third edition, Cure3 was devised and curated by Artwise in partnership with Bonhams to raise awareness and funds for The Cure Parkinson's Trust.
Participating artists are each given a bespoke Perspex cube measuring just 20cm3 as a compact space to interact with and to create original artworks on or within. For Cure3 2020, over 90 artists participated, including several of our Royal Academicians. These collectable artworks launched at Bonhams 5-8 September this year and we are proud to be showcasing a selection of the works this winter.
