Product story

This collection of photographic portraits chronicles the work that he was doing during that time and provides an insight into the man behind the canvas – a man who, having turned 97 during the first lockdown, was painting with vigour and passion of someone half his age.

All the narrative is taken from his personal diaries and provides a fascinating glimpse into his thoughts and artistic processes during that challenging time. These privileged observations, recorded thanks to Sarah’s unique access, have resulted in this delightful publication.
