Rekava is a Ukrainian sustainable brand of biodegradable goods made of recycled coffee grounds. This candle is part of a collection dedicated to the symbolic aromas of Ukraine.
The candles are made in Ukraine using only certified ingredients: natural soy wax, fragrance oils, and premium quality dyes, all inside a biodegradable container and lid made of recycled coffee grounds. As an eco-friendly alternative to metal wick holders. the team at Rekava have developed a holder made from natural eggshell bioceramics. After burning the candle, all its remains may be sorted into organic fractions, composted or used as a biodegradable seedling pot.
As these candles are made with natural materials, some colour variation may occur. This natural process is called wax crystallisation and does not affect the quality.
