Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was a French painter famous for leaving the beginning of what would become the impressionist movement. Known for his remarkable ability to capture light, colour, and the essence of fleeting moments, Renoir's art continues to captivate art enthusiasts worldwide. In 1874 Renoir was a part of the first impressionist exhibition alongside Monet, Sisley and Pissarro.
