Leonard Rosoman OBE RA (1913–2012) was born in London and studied art at Newcastle and in London. As well as working as an artist, he taught for many years at the Royal College of Art.

Tanya Harrod is a prominent design historian. Her insightful biography features 225 exquisite colour illustrations of Leonard Rosoman OBE RA's work, including examples of his work from the theatre and as an Official War Artist.
