Product story
The Fighting Temeraire tugged to her last berth to be broken up, 1838 was painted at the height of JMW Turner's career. The Romantic painter had been accepted in to The Royal Academy in 1890, aged 15 and exhibited here aged 21. This painting shows HMS Temeraire being paddled in to Rotherhithe for scrap after its use in The Battle of Trafalgar.
