Product story
Luke Edward Hall is an English artist, designer and writer. Hall's philosophy is shaped by his love of storytelling, nature and fantasy. His work is often inspired by mythology and folklore, filtered through a lens of irreverent romanticism.
For their unique collaboration, the RA commissioned Hall to design a new collection which celebrates the rich history of the Academy and its place in London's cultural and artistic society; its dining club, its parties and its personalities.
With a deep love of history and appreciation of beauty, Hall was able to reinterpret motifs discovered in the RA's archive in his own witty and playful style, perfectly capturing the spirit of the Royal Academy.
