Product story

Chris Orr’s work explores the physical and social elements of the modern city. Rich with detail, subtle narratives, humour and social commentary run throughout his imagery. As such, much of Orr’s practice can be seen to sit within the English tradition of graphic satire. London has been the focus for much of Orr’s work however he has taken inspiration from cities worldwide. The starting point for these prints were drawings Orr made from a midtown apartment in New York during a research trip in 2011. They are part of a body of work produced as stone lithographs at Curwen Studio, Cambridge.

Artist Sales: this work is sold by the artist. The sale is facilitated by RA Enterprises (RAE) for which RAE receives a commission from the artist only.
