This poster for The Royal Academy 1967 Summer Exhibition was designed by Vorticist artist William Roberts RA (1895-1980). The Vorticists were a group of British artists that Roberts was part of before being elected to the Academy in 1958. The Royal Academy has a long and distinguished history of poster designs, in this, its 250th year, some of its best loved and most memorable designs have been selected for publication.
