Product story
Frederick Gore RA designed the poster for the 1981 Summer Exhibition. A tapestry featuring the same artwork was sold in the RA shop. Gore was a key figure at the Royal Academy and worked hard to enhance its reputation. His Guardian obituary states that he was “…the most influential academician never to have been made president, a post he did not seek.”
