Product story

One hopes for something resembling truth, some sense of life,
even of grace, to flicker, at least, in the work.

Jasper Johns, 2006.

The softback Jasper Johns exhibition catalogue includes 200 colour images across 240 pages. Contributions to this fascinating publication come from leading authorities on Johns's work, including Roberta Bernstein, Professor at the University at Albany, New York (SUNY) and author of the catalogue raisonné of Jasper Johns’s paintings and sculptures, and Edith Devaney, Curator of Contemporary Projects at the Royal Academy of Arts.

The volume accompanies Jasper Johns: ‘Something Resembling Truth’, the first comprehensive survey of the artist’s work to be held in the UK in 40 years. The exhibition is on display in the Main Galleries, Royal Academy of Arts from 23 September — 10 December 2017.
