Stitch Your Flowers Bag

A DIY tote bag kit that flourishes as you sew over the gorgeous flowers and bring the canvas bag to life with colourful embroidery!

Covered with lovely hand-drawn illustrations of classic florals by Sara Abu-Hejleh, this tote bag already looks beautiful without any extra stitches! Great as a gardening bag, and equally useful for grocery shopping and everyday use.

The bag is generously sized and features faux suede outer pockets - perfect for keeping tools in, or for carrying bottles back from the grocery shop. The complete kit includes instructions, needle and 14 colour threads to get creative with! Includes a flower shaped spool to store your project thread & needle.

Since the flower illustrations are fairly detailed, this is a longer project that we recommend completing bit by bit. Use each flower to practice your different stitches, and follow our tutorials to learn some new ones - for example a French knot for the stigma! It is suitable for beginners, as you simply need to follow the lines printed on the bag, but start slow and don't expect to finish your flower in one evening - it might take a few nights to complete the first outline and it will be a longer project even for advanced sewers!
