Product story

What role does suspension play in sculpture? Christopher McSherry explores the question to surreal effect in this startling photographic print.

McSherry composed the original shot in Tynemouth, his home town in England’s north east. A shopping trolley discovered washed up on the shore seemed out of place. To maximise the incongruity, the sculptor launched the trolley across the rocks, photographing it mid-flight, and suspending it within the image.

McSherry is a multiple award winner, and his work is exhibited internationally.
