This screenprint is part of a group show Advanced Graphics London: The Magic is in the Tea, currently on display in the Sir Hugh Casson Room, Keeper's House from 3 September 2024 to 5 March 2025.
The Magic is in the Tea celebrates the collaboration between Royal Academicians past and present with master printers and publishers Advanced Graphics London. The studio, currently based in Kennington, began in 1967 and continues to produce and publish original prints by established artists. The show's title is taken from a piece of writing by Albert Irvin on the Studio’s 30th Anniversary in 1997. He expresses beautifully the nature of the relationship between artist and printer, enabling the artist to reach a higher level with the help of the technician.
