Product story

At the beginning of We Think the World of You, Remfry recalls a conversation he overheard in a gym locker room in New York. One young man asks his friend: ‘So, how are you getting on with her?’ The friend replies: ‘I am consumed by her. I think of her all day. I’m desperate to see her. I’m so in love with her it scares me.’ Who is the object of this man’s affection, Remfry wonders? Then, the first man asks: ‘Is she your first dog?’ The anecdote perfectly illustrates the special love dog-owners have for their dogs, a relationship that Remfry has been drawing for many decades.

The book features Alan Cumming and his rescue dog Honey; Susan Sarandon and her diva-like Pomeranians, Penny and Rigby; Agnes Gund and her Wheaten Terriers, Tina, Giotto and Bronzino; Laura Kaplan and her Dachshund Oscar; and Ethan Hawke and Nina.
