Product story

In this print, Anne Desmet RA frames London monuments in roundels, as if viewed from the ground through binoculars. Iconic London buildings depicted include the Gherkin, St Bride’s Church (on Fleet St), Hawksmoor Church (Spitalfields), and the BT Tower. Desmet intersperses these buildings with studies of clouds, produced in a two-colour blend, and with an engraved quality which is reminiscent of fingerprints.

This work was composed in the artist’s Hackney studio and printed on her antique ‘Albion’ press.

Artist Sales: this work is sold by the artist. The sale is facilitated by RA Enterprises (RAE) for which RAE receives a commission from the artist only.
